Actor Nivin Pauly has been issued a notice to appear for questioning in a fraud case. The notice was sent by the Thalayolaparambu(Kerala) police. Director Abrid Shine has also been issued a police notice. Documents and bank account details have been ordered to be produced. The police action was taken on a complaint filed by producer Shamnas. The complaint alleges that money was embezzled in connection with the production of the movie “Action Hero Biju 2”.

Notice Issued against Nivin Pauly in Fraud Allegation: In Detail

Shamnas was one of the producers of the movie Mahaveeriyar, directed by Abrid Shine, starring Nivin Pauly. The complaint alleges that Rs 1.90 crore was embezzled from him through fraud. The FIR has named Nivin Pauly as the first accused and Abrid Shine as the second accused. The basis of the case is a financial dispute related to the production of the movie.

The complainant claims that he is owed Rs 95 lakhs in connection with the production of the film Mahaviryaar. Following this, Shamnas says in his complaint that he was again paid Rs 1.90 crores by promising to make him a production partner in the upcoming film Action Hero Biju 2, which is being produced by Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly. After the agreement regarding the production partnership was finalized, there was a difference of opinion between the three. The complaint alleges that the overseas rights of the film were sold by concealing the agreement with Shamnas’ production company and thus he suffered a loss of Rs 1.90 crores.

Nivin Pauly had earlier responded that this was a dispute that was being resolved through mediation as per the court’s earlier order, and that the complainant had filed the next case without respecting the court’s order.
