Superstar Prabhas is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming horror-comedy The Raja Saab. Slated for a grand theatrical release on December 5, 2025, the film is already creating waves — not just in cinemas, but in the OTT space too.
According to reports, Netflix has acquired the Hindi digital rights of The Raja Saab for a staggering
₹100 crore. Yes, you read that right. This deal is only for the Hindi version, with South Indian language rights yet to be finalized. Although the makers haven’t officially confirmed it, the buzz speaks volumes about Prabhas’ box office pull and OTT dominance.
Director Maruthi is making The Raja Saab with a massive budget of over ₹400 crore. He blends comedy, horror, and romance to create a unique cinematic experience. In the film, Prabhas plays a man who pretends to be royalty in order to impress a girl. However, his plan takes a wild turn when he discovers that the palace he claims as his own is actually haunted.
The film stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, and Sanjay Dutt alongside Prabhas. Music is composed by S.S. Thaman, promising a chart-topping album to match the film’s high energy. With its genre-bending narrative and star power, the film is aiming to entertain audiences across demographics.
