A newly wed man from Rajasthan had just finished another successful crime in late January. He was doing it to cater to the newly married woman’s extravagant lifestyle. The Police apprehended him a month after his marriage.
The accused Tarun Pareek is a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) graduate. He previously worked as an executive in a private company.
However, his new wife allegedly encouraged him to bring money to the table and to live in a fancy lifestyle. He felt discouraged and quit his job altogether.
Tarun then turned to theft as a fast, easy and reliable way to fulfill those expensive requirements. He would continuously travel between his Jamwaramgarh village and Jaipur to commit his crimes.
According to officials, Tarun developed a routine that followed the same path. He applied common sense to make himself look harmless. He often committed his crimes in packed or unclear areas at rush hour, hoping people didn’t notice him entering or leaving the crime scene.
Tarun recently snatched a gold chain off of an elderly woman in Transport Nagar Jaipur in the clear light of day. The entire incident horrified residence and initiated panic in the area.
The police were able to arrest him by tracking him through CCTV footage and two or more normal trips between his village and Jaipur at one time prompted great suspicion.
According to the police, Tarun was arrested on Friday following their investigation. Mr. Tarun was detained for investigation; evidences have been seized linking him to chain-snatching and some other crimes.
Right now, the police are interrogating him to find out if he committed other crimes in addition to these. They are also trying to see if he had accomplices in these thefts.
Authorities also want to determine if his wife was aware of his illegal activities or if she subsequently directly benefited from the stolen valuables.

This case stands as a classic example of how private pressure can lead to unlawful activities. Officials have urged the general public to pursue legal means to solve financial difficulties rather than resort to crime.
