No Entry for THESE Non-Delhi Vehicles From Today: Key Update

Delhi Traffic Rules Update: Almost round 50,000 to 70,000 of the vehicles which are entering to delhi are from NCR region and they don’t even meet the BS-VI standards. As per the recent update, government has decided to not allow the vehicles which are below BS-III and will be turned back from the borders.


The government has taken this decision keeping the air quality conditions in Delhi right now. This initiative is going to cut down vehicular emissions in the city and at least help the city in maintaining it’s air quality.

For a temporary relief government has decided to allow BS-VI commercial goods vehicles which are going to be come from outside to Delhi till October 31st, 2026. But, there is a strict order that from today onwards, all the BS-III vehicles are not allowed inside Delhi.

Non-Delhi Vehicles Ban Rule Details: Delhi Traffic Rules Update
All light goods vehicles (LGVs), medium goods vehicles (MGVs), and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) from other states that have emissions below the BS-IV standard are prohibited, according the new criteria.

Only the cars listed below are permitted entry into Delhi:

– BS-VI Complaint Goods Vehicles
– Vehicles running on Electricity, CNG and LPG
– Commercial vehicles which are registered from Delhi

India’s automobile emission regulations system is known as the Bharat Stage, or BS for short. These regulations place restrictions on the amount of pollutants, including particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and carbon monoxide (CO), that a car is allowed to release.
