Special Personal Loan Scheme:
State Bank of India (SBI) has launched a new personal loan scheme aimed at Agniveers under the Agnipath scheme. This scheme, introduced on the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, offers loans to young recruits in the Indian Army. The loan comes with an interest rate as low as 0.90% along with a range of additional benefits.

Special Personal Loan Scheme:
Under this scheme, Agniveers, both male and female soldiers, who have an active salary account with SBI can avail personal loans up to Rs. 4 lakh without the need for collateral. Along with this loan, SBI is offering an insurance cover of up to Rs. 50 lakh. The loan process has also been simplified, with no processing fee. The scheme is designed to help Agniveers meet their financial needs, be it for personal use or other requirements.

The SBI Agniveer personal loan scheme offers a low fixed interest rate of 10.50% until September 30, 2025. Additionally, the loan tenure is aligned with the Agnipath recruitment program. This initiative aims to support the welfare of soldiers and their families, recognizing their dedication to the nation’s defense.

Apart from this, Agniveers will also benefit from other perks like zero-balance accounts in SBI ATMs, free international gold debit cards, and unlimited free ATM transactions. Furthermore, the scheme includes personal accident insurance, air accident insurance, and disability cover, making it an attractive financial offer for those serving the nation.

This new initiative by SBI highlights its commitment to the welfare of the Armed Forces and their families, offering them a financial safety net alongside their service.
