It represents the traditions and beauty of Telangana. The government is planning nine days of celebrations with nine different events across the state.

Bathukamma Festival 2025:

The festival will start with an inaugural event at the famous Ramappa temple. Later, special programs will be organized at various tourist spots in the state. A unique attraction this year will be the “Floating Bathukamma” at Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad. This is expected to be a major highlight and attract visitors.

The tourism department has prepared the schedule for these celebrations. Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will officially announce the final plan soon. The government also wants to include celebrities and international guests in the celebrations. By doing this, the festival will gain global attention and promote Telangana culture worldwide.

Another interesting plan is to involve people from other states who live in Hyderabad. The government wants everyone to participate and enjoy this cultural event. Along with celebrations, the government will conduct essay writing competitions for students of intermediate and degree colleges. Prizes will be given to winners in different categories.
