Telangana University Exams Cancelled:

Telangana is currently experiencing heavy rainfall across several districts, which has forced the Telangana University to cancel all scheduled exams. The exams that were supposed to be held on Friday and Saturday have now been postponed. University Vice-Chancellor Professor Yadagiri Rao announced that new exam dates will be decided soon and students will be informed in advance.

Along with the cancellation of exams, holidays have also been declared for educational institutions in some districts. Authorities in Kamareddy district announced that schools and colleges will remain closed on Friday and Saturday due to continuous rains. Similarly, in Medak district, schools and colleges will be closed on Friday. Officials explained that these measures have been taken to ensure the safety of students and staff, as heavy rainfall has disrupted normal life in many parts of Telangana.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings about more rainfall in the coming days. Local authorities are on alert to handle any emergency situations such as waterlogging, flooding, or transportation issues. Parents are advised to ensure the safety of their children and avoid unnecessary travel.

These sudden changes have brought some relief to students, as they get additional preparation time for their exams. However, many students are also anxious about the uncertainty of the revised schedule. University officials have promised to release the updated timetable soon and assured that enough time will be given before rescheduled exams.

The heavy rains are not only affecting the education system but also causing problems in several areas of Telangana, including transportation delays, traffic jams, and disruption of daily activities. The state government is closely monitoring the situation, and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed district officials to take precautionary measures to prevent any major damage.

For now, students, teachers, and parents are waiting for further updates from Telangana University and district administrations. The focus remains on ensuring safety while minimizing academic disruptions caused by the heavy rains.
