Big Folk Night 2025: Organizers launched the poster and promo for The Big Folk Night – 2025 Live Folk Musical Concert at Novotel Hotel, Madhapur, at 5 PM on Friday. The event featured the participation of 60 Telangana folk singers and musicians, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the region.
BigTV introduced a new trend with this initiative, aiming to bring folk traditions to a broader audience in a modern format. Elemental Media will manage the event’s distribution, partnering with a large number of ticketing platforms to ensure wide public access and participation for the upcoming grand concert.

Big TV CEO Ajay Reddy Konda emphasized that Telangana folk art continues to shine in the limelight. Furthermore, he stated, “With Big Folk Night 2025, we aim to celebrate and uplift the rich heritage of Telangana’s folk culture.” To bring this vision to life, the organizers are producing the event to international standards. It is set to take place at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, August 23. Significantly, for the first time, 60 Telangana folk artists will share the same stage, marking a historic cultural moment.

Meanwhile, renowned writer Suddala Ashok Teja highlighted the uniqueness of the event by saying, “Most people never had the chance to witness legends like Michael Jackson, Bhupen Hazarika, the Nuran Sisters, or Gaddar performing on one stage. However, with this initiative, today’s generation will experience the same kind of magic, this time, through the voices and rhythm of Telangana’s finest folk singers and musicians.”

Musician Vandemataram Srinivas expressed his joy and said, “Witnessing all the folk singers of Telangana on one platform is a rare and fortunate experience. I congratulate BigTV for organizing such a unique and culturally vibrant event. I feel honored to be part of it.”
He praised the energetic folk music and dance performances by Madhupriya, Ramu Rathod, Kanakava, and other artists on stage. He described the experience as “uplifting and memorable.”
