Tirumala Temple: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has warned of strict action against those who make videos at the Tirumala temple, therefore, It has appealed to respect the sentiments of devotees.
Recently, TTD has come to the notice of some youth at the Tirumala Srivari Temple, making videos of them doing naughty things for social media reels.
They are making videos of them dancing and doing objectionable poses, and performing funny acts on the streets of the temple and posting them on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and others, also TTD has stated that this is an act that hurts the sentiments of the devotees, and this has been stated in a statement released by TTD recently.
TTD officials, who stated that it is their main responsibility to maintain the spiritual atmosphere at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, strongly condemned such videos as a mockery of the sanctity of the temple. They said that they will identify those who made such reels at the Srivari Temple and Mada streets, register legal cases against them and take strict action.
TTD Vigilance Department and security personnel have maintained 24/7 surveillance in the temple premises and they have taken strict measures to immediately identify and take action against anyone trying to take videos.
Officials said that criminal cases and fines will be imposed on those who act against spirituality in the temple premises. Thus, TTD has expressed concern over the reels being made to reduce the spiritual atmosphere, sanctity and dignity here.
TTD officials have also started working on vehicle control along with the ban on reels. To reduce the pollution caused by old vehicles in Tirumala, orders have been issued for the establishment of special parking and prepaid taxis. Minimum and maximum fares will be fixed for the convenience of devotees.
