₹15,000 for First Private Job by PM Modi: Youth Employment or Gimmick?

Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana: Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided ₹15,000 in aid for young people starting their careers in the private sector through the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana during his Independence Day speech at Red Fort on Friday. On the 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the country from the Red Fort. It is anticipated that this program will help more than 3.5 crore youth.


Modi About Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana:

PM Modi addressed the nation, saying, “Youth of my nation, today, August 15, we launch a ₹1 lakh crore program for our country’s youth. We are implementing the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana right now.” Under this program, the government will provide ₹15,000 to young men and women who secure their first private sector job. The government will also give incentive payments to businesses that increase employment. Modi stated that the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana will create about 3.5 crore new job opportunities for young people.

PM Modi announced that two crore women have quickly become “lakhpati didis” and pointed out that some of them sat in front of him at the Red Fort. He declared, “I stand like a wall to protect the interests of farmers and fishermen from any unfriendly policies,” and emphasized farmers’ importance by stating, “Farmers contribute greatly to our economy; they have made India a top producer of several commodities.”

By Diwali this year, Modi promised that the government would implement the next phase of GST changes, assuring all Indians a “bahut bada tohfa” (large gift). He explained that the reforms would focus on rationalizing tax slabs and lowering GST rates on necessities and daily-use goods to directly assist households and boost spending. He further asserted that the new GST structure would improve compliance and transparency, adding, “By this Diwali, you will see a simplified GST system that makes life easier for the common man and strengthens our economy.”
