Yash Dayal Case: Indian cricketer Yash Dayal, who is in the playing eleven for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), is lately facing a legal hassle due to two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) against him filed in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Jaipur, Rajasthan. Allegations in Jaipur:
The very latest one that got registered on Sanganer Sadar police station further remarked. That it alleges of Dayal molestation charges against a minor girl, then seventeen years old, now, beginning in 2023. The complainant, who an aspiring cricketer states that Dayal procured the mentorship for the developing cricket career. Making him sexually molest her many times, including April 2025 in Jaipur at a hotel during the IPL season.
This case across the room dealt under Section 64 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Which carries a penalty for a jail term of not less than 10 years along with other provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
Allegations in Ghaziabad
The same woman has already accused him in Ghaziabad of sexual exploitation under false promise of marriage. This FIR was registered at Indirapuram police station on July 6, 2025, after a complaint was submitted to the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s portal.
According to the complaint, the woman was in a relationship with Dayal for five years. During which he is alleged to have manipulated her emotionally, physically, and financially. Furthermore, she claims that Dayal had introduced her to his family, assuring her marriage several times.
In the Ghaziabad incident, an interim restraining direction was given by the Allahabad High Court to Dayal on July 15 and stayed arrest until next hearing and prevented coercive action against him. Both investigations are ongoing, where police are working at recording statements of complainants in detail besides collecting corroborative evidence.

Public and Industry Response
As of this moment, neither has RCB nor the Board of Control for Cricket in India made any public statement regarding the charges. Nonetheless, the same has also set the public shuddering and gushing towards media coverage.
