5 Things You Should Never Keep in Your Home That Brings Bad Luck

A home is said to bring peace and positivity along with an energy that induces growth, harmony, and prosperity. Certain objects are thus thought to invite negativity and bad luck, according to some cultural beliefs, Vastu Shastra, and Feng Shui. These are some things you shouldn’t have in your home if you want it to be a peaceful space.

1. Broken Articles/Glass Items or Mirrors

It is believed that mirrors cracked or broken bring one bad luck and negative energy. Feng Shui sees mirrors as symbols of clarity and reflection, but when in broken form, mirrors typically create disarray within the positive energy pathway. Dispose of and/or throw out anything that is broken, whether it is glass or a mirror.

2. Dried Plants and Artificial Plants

Plants are life and freshness, and it is felt that dried or dead plants block positive energy. Negative energies may be countered by their presence indoors, which can symbolize stagnation or hindrances to growth. Such dried plants need to be replaced with live plants at all times to invite prosperity.

3. Clocks That Are Not Working

We all perceive the clock tick away each precious moment of our life; therefore, probably, if your clocks, watches, or wall decoration clocks are stopped or not ticking, they all may represent a kind of delay for the opportunities before you. All clocks and watches should therefore tick with good energy in your house, promoting an energizing atmosphere.

4. Pictures of War, Sadness, or Violence

Walls painted with or sporting photographs of experiences of pain, war, or sad scenes are thought to be attracting negative feelings. Decorate your walls with nature, family photographs, or happy symbols to engender positive attitudes.

5. Sharp Objects Kept Open

Swords, knives, and other sharp objects kept openly will bring in conflict and aggression. They should be stored rather than displayed.

Your environment greatly affects the energy of your home. By eliminating broken mirrors, dead plants, and negative images, we can promote the creation of a peaceful and prosperous atmosphere. A space free from clutter and filled with positivity will invite good vibrations, thus creating harmony in your life.
