AI-Based Blood Test Without Needle: Here Is All You Need To Know

AI-Based Blood Test Without Needle:

India has achieved a big milestone in medical innovation. For the first time, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based blood test tool that works without using a needle has been launched in Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad. This new technology gives blood test results in just one minute and is especially useful for children and pregnant women.

AI-Based Blood Test Without Needle:

The device has been introduced by QuickVitals, in collaboration with Niloufer Hospital and the Sushena Health Foundation. This diagnostic tool uses a technology called Photoplethysmography (PPG). It works by scanning a person’s face using a mobile phone, completing tests in just 20 to 30 seconds.

The AI tool checks important health signs like blood pressure, heart rate, and HbA1c (used to measure blood sugar levels) without taking blood. This makes it easy, safe, and comfortable—especially for those who are afraid of needles.

Doctors at Niloufer say that this innovation is extremely helpful for kids and expecting mothers, who often undergo frequent testing. Since it’s non-invasive and fast, it reduces the stress and pain usually associated with blood tests.

The test works like this: A person just needs to look at a mobile camera for a few seconds. The app then uses AI to analyze facial data and instantly shows vital health results. This method saves time, avoids needle pain, and gives results quickly.

This smart health tool is expected to expand soon to Maharashtra and other parts of India. The creators aim to make health monitoring as easy as taking a selfie. With AI, India is moving toward smarter, quicker, and pain-free healthcare services.

This is just the beginning of a new healthcare revolution in the country—bringing technology and health together to improve lives.
