Reduce Bad Cholesterol:
Cholesterol is a type of fat found in our blood. While our body needs some cholesterol to stay healthy, too much of it—especially bad cholesterol (LDL)—can be harmful. High levels of bad cholesterol can block blood vessels, increase blood pressure, and raise the risk of heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Poor eating habits, junk food, and lack of exercise are the main reasons for cholesterol problems today.
Health experts say food plays a big role in controlling cholesterol levels. By making small changes in diet and lifestyle, one can prevent many heart-related problems. Along with a balanced diet, some natural home remedies can also help reduce cholesterol effectively.
One such remedy is a herbal powder made with common kitchen ingredients like fenugreek (methi), fennel seeds (saunf), cumin (jeera), coriander seeds (dhaniya), and cinnamon (dalchini). These herbs are well known in Ayurveda for improving digestion, boosting metabolism, and lowering cholesterol.
Take 2 teaspoons each of fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and coriander seeds.
Add a small piece of cinnamon.
Lightly roast them in a pan for 5–10 minutes.
Grind everything into a fine powder and store it in a jar.
If taken regularly, this simple drink may help reduce bad cholesterol, improve blood circulation, and keep the heart healthy. It is also a natural and safe option compared to chemical-based medicines.
However, experts also advise avoiding refined oils, palm oil, and foods rich in saturated fats. Eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nuts can further protect your heart. Regular exercise, yoga, or even daily walking can add extra benefits.
