Healthy Hair: Biotin, also known as Vitamin B7, is a water-soluble B-vitamin that plays a key role in maintaining healthy hair, skin, and nails. It helps in the production of keratin, a protein essential for hair structure, and supports overall scalp health. A deficiency in biotin may lead to hair thinning, breakage, or even hair loss. Including biotin-rich foods in your daily diet can significantly improve hair strength and growth.


Egg yolks are one of the best natural sources of biotin. They are also rich in proteins, which further support hair health. Nuts and seeds, particularly almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and peanuts, provide a good dose of biotin along with healthy fats. Legumes like lentils, chickpeas, and soybeans are also beneficial, being packed with biotin and other essential nutrients. Sweet potatoes, with their rich orange color, offer a good amount of biotin and antioxidants. Bananas, mushrooms, and avocados are other biotin-rich plant-based options that can easily be added to meals or snacks.
