Daily Morning Coffee? Here’s Why You Should Be Cautious

Morning Coffee: Most of us start our day with a cup of coffee. Coffee has many health benefits. 36% of people drink coffee in the morning, according to a study published in the European Society of Cardiology.

A meta-analysis of studies from 1966 to 2007, published in the National Library of Medicine, found that drinking two cups of coffee a day reduced the risk of liver cancer by 43%. Studies have shown that regular coffee consumption can prevent the development and progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Should Be Cautious About the Morning Coffee

A recent study published in the National Library of Medicine found that coffee drinkers are significantly less likely to develop non-alcoholic fatty liver disease than non-coffee drinkers. Coffee is rich in compounds including caffeine, chlorogenic acid (CGA), trigonelline, diterpenes, and melanoids.

These compounds have anti-cancer activity, reduce oxidative stress, prevent kidney stones, and prevent inflammation. Researchers also say that drinking three to four cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of degenerative diseases.

One of the first things to pay attention to when drinking coffee is its quantity. Researchers also say that drinking too much coffee has side effects. People who drink coffee in the morning are 31 percent less likely to die from heart disease, according to a study published in the European Heart Journal in 2025.

Researchers say that drinking coffee in the morning, when consumed in moderation, works favorably for liver health.
