Shamshabad Airport: Good news for air passengers flying to Vietnam from Hyderabad’s Shamshabad Airport. A direct flight from Hyderabad to Vietnam has become available. The flight service will be available twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Vietjet Airways will operate this flight.
Hundreds of flights depart from Hyderabad’s Shamshabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport every day. No matter where you want to go in the world, flights are available from Shamshabad Airport. However, while there are direct flights to some countries, connecting services are available to others. Recently, a direct flight has become available from Shamshabad to another country.
Vietjet Airways has launched a new service for passengers flying to Vietnam. It will operate direct flights to Vietnam from Wednesday (March 19). The airline sources revealed that the service will be operated twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The VJ-1803 flight service, which departs from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at 7.40 pm every Tuesday, will reach Hyderabad at 10.35 pm. On the return journey, the VJ – 1804 flight will depart from Hyderabad’s Shamshabad Airport at 11.35 pm and arrive at Ho Chi Minh City Airport at 5.30 am the next day. (It should be noted that Vietnam’s time is 1.30 hours ahead of India’s time.)
Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited, expressed hope that this new flight service will play a key role in boosting tourism and trade between Hyderabad and various countries. He said that this flight service will be available twice a week. With a flight time of about 4 hours and 35 minutes, it will strengthen airways connectivity between India and Vietnam. He pointed out that it will stand as an important milestone in providing tourism and business cooperation.
VietJet Vice President Do Xuan Quang said that India is a key market for VietJet. He said that they are very happy to start direct flight service between Hyderabad and Ho Chi Minh City. He said that this will strengthen trade and tourism relations between the two countries.
