Places exposed to direct sunlight

You can avoid growing roses in places exposed to direct sunlight. This affects the growth of the plant. Excessive heat can cause the plant to die. Roses do not need more than 6 hours of sunlight.


 

Do not grow them near trees

Rose plants need sunlight. However, when grown near trees, the plant does not get the necessary light. In addition, the roots need space to grow and spread. Roses can be grown in soil with good nutrients and moisture.

 

Should not be grown near shrubs

Shrubs have shallow roots. Therefore, they compete with roses for nutrients and moisture. This can affect the growth of roses. If you are growing roses near shrubs, make sure they have enough space to grow.

 

In wet soil

Rose plants are prone to fungal diseases and root rot. Therefore, do not grow them in wet or muddy soil. If the soil is not suitable for the plant to grow, it is better to transplant it.

 

Diseased plants

You can avoid growing roses with diseased plants. Diseases in other plants can also be transmitted to roses. This can cause the plant to die. If potatoes and tomatoes in the vegetable garden are affected by black spot, do not plant roses near them.
