Does eating eggs increase cholesterol? Myths Debunked

Eggs increase cholesterol: If you want to be healthy and fit, you must eat eggs every day. This is what doctors always say. If you consume milk and eggs daily, the body will get all the nutrients it needs. Those who are a little thin or suffer from vitamin deficiency should eat eggs regularly. However, this is only the version of some people. Others say that you should not eat eggs at all. The reason for this is that eating eggs increases cholesterol in the body.

Does eating eggs really increase cholesterol? Are they good for health? Nutritionist Prashant Desai has given clarity on this matter. He posted a video regarding this on Instagram. He explained what changes occur in the body due to eating eggs.

We are afraid of cholesterol. We worry that it will be very difficult if we do not reduce it. But, the fact is that, if there is no cholesterol, there is no real human being. Nutritionist Prashant Desai said the same thing.

Prashant Desai Says

There are billions of cells in our body. All of these play a vital role in our body. Even if there is some damage in these, the effect is immediately visible on us. That is why.. doctors say that we should adopt healthy habits instead of cell damage. The membrane present in these cells forms due to cholesterol.

We said that cholesterol helps in the formation of membranes in cells. This is so important that it decides what enters our cells and what leaves them. Another important thing is that the body produces cholesterol on its own. That is, our body already has fat. According to Prashant Desai, about 80 to 90 percent of fat is produced by the liver. This is called free cholesterol. That is, only the remaining 10 or 20 percent of cholesterol is obtained from food.

Nutritionist Prashant Desai has made it very clear that the idea that eating eggs increases cholesterol is just a myth. The body gets less fat from the food we eat. Prashant Desai explained that when we eat fatty foods, it goes through at least 37 stages before it reaches our body. However, he said that in the days when people did not know much about science, some people had some myths. He explained that they reduced the consumption of eggs at that time . But Prashant Desai said that there is no truth in the idea that eating eggs increases cholesterol.

The main reason for the increase in bad fat in the body is eating habits. Eating too much processed food and consuming large amounts of fried foods increase cholesterol. Along with this, regular consumption of alcohol also causes fat to increase. The same problem arises if you eat too much meat. Even without any physical activity, fat accumulates. Due to this, along with bloating, heart problems occur. Therefore, you should balance your diet by consuming foods high in fiber. You should eat foods that provide healthy fats to the body. There is no problem with these. If you avoid junk food, there is a possibility of reducing bad cholesterol to a large extent.
