Keeping oily skin under control sometimes turns into a very hard task when heat and pollution create excess oil and dull the skin. You sometimes don’t have time to take care of your skin; hence, it becomes a less-earning priority, but you are what you eat, and your diet does impact skin health greatly.
A balanced diet will ensure that skin will be healthy and glowing, but in case of oily skin, some foods might increase oil production and form acne or pimples. Here is a list of the few food items which will drastically affect your skin.
1. Milk: Milk when consumed in moderation, especially whole or full-fat, has its benefits. However, for the oily skin, it has an adverse effect due to the presence of hormones in it, particularly testosterone that increases oil production and makes the skin more oilier and prone to acne.

9. Mango: While mangoes taste great, they are known to heat the body. This heat can result in acne and cause your skin to be moist and oily looking.
10. Jackfruit: Similar to mangoes, jackfruit can also heat up the body and increase the number of pimples on your skin. Some studies have confirmed that jackfruit causes oiliness.
11. Caffeine: Drinks such as coffee can dehydrate you and create inflammation. Inflammation may stimulate your skin into creating more oil, leading to pimples and/or acne.
12. Butter: Butter is dairy and cause inflammation in the body, and inflammation may worsen oily skin and increase the amount of acne you have or lead to breakouts.
13. Chili: Like many spicy foods, adding chili to your dish can create more heat within you body. if you tend to have a flare-up in acne, then chili and spicy foods can only add to greasy skin and make things worse, especially if you suffer from oily skin.

Nutritionists recommend that oily skin can sometimes lead to acne and pimples. To counteract this, they suggest avoiding dairy products like milk and cheese, the yolk of egg, red meat, and junk foods, all foods that can elevate cholesterol and can make your skin very oily. By eliminating these foods in your diet, you will reduce the oiliness of your skin, and have healthier skin.
