From Paris To Dubai: The Most Beautiful Restaurants Of 2025

Prix Versailles (Architectural and design Award Series) has released a list of the 16 most beautiful restaurants in the world for 2025. The selection committee chose these restaurants for their stunning design, unique atmosphere, and strong cultural connections. Represented in cities such as Dubai, Paris, New York, and Shanghai, these restaurants are examples of the fact that architecture and ambiance are equally important as food.


 

In December, three of these restaurants will be awarded global titles. Prix Versailles also promotes “intelligent sustainability” that marries culture with the environment. Some of the highlights from the Middle East area include:


 

Beautiful Restaurants in the Middle East

 

Gerbou – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Designed by Kristina Zanic Consultants, Gerbou is a modern take on Emirati style and uses locally sourced materials and ingredients.

 

Smoked Room – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

This restaurant by Chef Dani Garcia showcases a fire-inspired interior design, with an open kitchen concept that allows guests to enjoy a dramatic, interactive dining experience.

 

Kimyona – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Kimyona hides behind the entrance of an art gallery. Azaz Architects took inspiration from the interior of a darkroom and used recycled and raw materials to create the interior.

Beautiful Restaurants in Asia, with an Artistic Context

 

Blackswan – Beijing, China

Blackswan is located in the Luo Hong Art Museum. It boasts swan-themed décor and offers a lakeside view.

 

Ortensia – Shanghai, China

Ortensia combines French, Japanese, and Chinese design elements situated in a historical context. Its rustic tiles and hand-carved wood content elegantly characterize the space.

 

Shell – Nusa Penida, Indonesia

This restaurant made from bamboo and earth is in the shape of a giant shell vessel. Its design immerses the occupant in the natural surroundings while being sustainable.

 

Seven Island – Busan, South Korea

This café sits on Gadeokdo Island and features seven pavilions. The design captures ocean views and fills the space with natural light. Architects created the layout specifically to highlight these natural elements.

 

Another Smith – Tha Sai Luat, Thailand

Another Smith is a family-run restaurant using bamboo and traditional Chinese (ancient) design. The property includes a café and boutique shop all under one roof.
Timeless Charm in Europe

 

Lobster Club – Palma de Mallorca, Spain

This seaside restaurant pairs relaxed dining with music in an enjoyable way. It has a pool for seating, an open bar, an abundance of Mediterranean design, and relaxation zones in a beautiful setting.

 

Bouchon Careme – Helsinki, Finland

Bouchon resides in an old building constructed over 100 years ago. Expect classic rustic French food, designed to maintain the décor and charm of the original building.

 

Laduree Rue Royale – Paris, France

The iconic tea room has been renovated to its 1862 glory, including the nostalgic pastels and Belle Epoque style to create a dream-like space.

 

Ducasse Baccarat – Paris, France

Located outside of the historic Palais Rosenwald, Ducasse takes fine dining to another level with its crystal and curated pieces of art.

 

Julie’s – London, United Kingdom

In Notting Hill, Julie’s has reopened with a bold revival of 1970s glamour. The team added quirky, colourful interiors and a charming outdoor terrace to reflect the area’s creative spirit.

 

Beefbar – New York, USA

With a blend of European glamour and New York’s industrial strangeness, this Tribeca steakhouse is fitted with marble and textiles for a opulent experience.

 

Japon – Miami Beach, USA

This colorful restaurant juxtaposes Japanese tradition and Miami colors with a crane motif, gold ceilings and tropical elements.
