An Instagram user recently shared her journey of losing 15 kg using AI. She used Microsoft’s AI assistant Copilot to create a personalized weight loss plan. The AI helped her calculate her daily energy needs, caloric intake, protein requirements and water consumption. Here’s how she did it.


AI Helped a Woman Lose Weight:

Step 1: Calculating TDEE


The first step was understanding her Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). She asked Copilot to calculate it based on her age, weight, height, gender and activity level. This helped her determine how many calories she needed daily.

Step 2: Setting a Caloric Deficit

Once she knew her TDEE, she asked AI to determine how many calories she should eat daily to lose weight without starving. The AI suggested she consume 200–500 calories less than her TDEE to achieve sustainable weight loss.

Step 3: Determining Protein Intake

To prevent muscle loss, she asked AI to calculate the right amount of protein she needed daily. Protein helps in fat loss and muscle retention preventing loose skin during weight loss.

Step 4: Tracking Water Intake

She also asked AI about her daily water requirement. The AI suggested 2–3 liters per day which helped her stay full and reduce cravings for sugary foods.
