Reduces dandruff and solidifies hair follicles

Tranquilizes stress and mental exhaustion with its calming scent

Relaxes pain as an all-natural analgesic for aching joints and muscles

With the new oil just distilled, you are assured of getting all the valuable properties without additives.

Ingredients You’ll Need

In order to make rosemary oil at home, you will need the following:

Some fresh rosemary sprigs (or ½ cup dried rosemary)

Carrier oil like coconut oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil (about 1 cup)

Sterilized, tightly-lidded glass jar

Strainer or cheesecloth

Step-by-Step Preparation

1. Prepare the rosemary:
Wash the rosemary sprigs well to remove dirt. Dry them well in case mold growth occurs during infusion.

2. Gently crush the rosemary:
Bruise the leaves either manually or with a pestle and mortar to release their natural oils.

3. Mix with carrier oil:
Put the rosemary in the glass jar and cover with your carrier oil to the top. Ensure that there is enough oil to cover all the sprigs.

4. Infuse the oil:
Seal the jar and put it in a warm, sunny window room for 2 to 3 weeks. Shake the jar daily to assist the infusion process.

5. Strain and store:
Strain the oil after several weeks through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer. Decant the completed rosemary oil into a new, dark glass bottle for storage.
