Anunay Sood’s Death Cause: Travel influencer Anunay Sood, who was discovered unconscious inside a hotel at the Wynn Las Vegas earlier this month, is thought to have died from a suspected drug overdose, according to a report by an LA-based news outlet. According to records seen by the outlet, police found Sood unconscious in his hotel room on November 4 and found “narcotics” next to his body.

According to his latest posts, Anunay Sood, who has over 1.5 million Instagram followers, was in the city to attend the Las Vegas Concours 2025 auto event. A woman who was staying with Sood reportedly told authorities that the group bought what they thought was cocaine from a man on the casino floor at around four in the morning.
She claimed that Sood, herself, and another woman took the drug before going to sleep. Sood was not responding when the two women woke up around an hour later. A little bag containing an unidentifiable white substance and other evidence indicating the gang had snorted the powder was found, according to the police.

Anunay Sood’s Death Confirmation:
Last week, Anunay Sood’s family and friends reported his passing on Instagram, asking for privacy and warning fans not to congregate close to the family home. He was in Las Vegas when he passed away, according to his final posts.
The Los Angeles police had previously told the media, “On November 4, 2025, LVMPD responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard.” Officers took a non-criminal/medical report and helped the coroner. His cause and manner of death are recorded as pending by the Clark County coroner’s office, which also notes that toxicology tests, which are necessary to determine whether chemicals caused the death, could take many months to finish. Authorities said on Monday that no arrests had been made in relation to the case.
