Apart from its sweet taste sugarcane juice is loaded with essential nutrients and antioxidants. In Ayurveda it is considered a natural remedy for various health issues. But many people wonder whether diabetics can drink sugarcane juice or not.

Drinking sugarcane juice may help detoxify the body and improve kidney and liver function.During summer many people suffer from dehydration and heatstroke. Sugarcane juice helps maintain hydration levels and provides instant energy. It contains fiber, vitamins and essential minerals that support overall health.

There is a common belief that sugarcane juice is a natural and healthy drink so diabetics can consume it without worry. But experts warn that sugarcane juice like other sugary drinks can be harmful to people with diabetes.
