She believes that beautiful and glowing skin does not require any complicated routine, but hydration, nutrition and simplicity are the real secrets. She emphasizes on homemade DIY masks, face steaming and small everyday habits like drinking more water, removing makeup, applying lip balm and sunscreen.

Janhvi Kapoor believes that “Less is More” when it comes to beauty. Her go-to beauty essentials are just lip balm and sunscreen. She believes that glow comes from within, not from outside. She often applies only sunscreen instead of foundation so that the skin looks breathable and natural.


Face steaming for pore cleaning

Facial steaming is an important part of her routine. For this, she covers her head with a towel and takes steam for 3 minutes. This opens up the pores and the skin is able to absorb hydration and cleanser better. This makes the face look fresh and healthy immediately.

DIY Fruit-Based Hydrating Mask

Jhanvi loves homemade masks. She prepares a hydrating mask by mixing curd (with cream), honey and seasonal fruits like bananas. It moisturizes, cools and nourishes the skin and reminds her of the moments spent with her mother.

Natural Exfoliation and Orange Treatment

To get glow and remove tanning, she rubs half a fresh orange on the skin. This brightens the face and removes dullness. Sometimes she also uses sugar scrub so that the skin gets naturally exfoliated and a healthy glow is visible.

Almond oil for under-eye care

After DIY skincare, Jhanvi applies a few drops of almond oil under the eyes. Rich in vitamins A and E, this oil soothes puffiness and provides deep hydration to the sensitive under-eye area.

Post-workout and night care

After a workout, she washes her face with cold water or ice so that the pores close and the skin feels refreshed. At night, she applies a mixture of rose water and glycerin, which keeps the skin hydrated and soft throughout the night.
