A Chandra Grahan or total lunar eclipse occurs on September 7-8 2025. The eclipse starts at 9:58 PM IST in India, and the total eclipse ends at 1:26 AM IST. The moon turns red (referred to as a Blood Moon) and the total eclipse is for 3 hours, 28 minutes. There is good visibility in India.
