Monsoon rains can cause water contamination, which leads to diseases like diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, and hepatitis A and E. These diseases are spread through contaminated water or food. To protect yourself, always drink boiled water and avoid eating food from roadside vendors. Stick to freshly prepared meals to reduce the risk of infection.
