Radhika Merchant: The Ambani family welcomed Ganpati at their home with great pomp and show. Pujas were held for two days. On the third day, the ‘Raja of Antilia’ was bid farewell. On this occasion, the entire Ambani family presented a confluence of devotion and grandeur. The centre of attraction at Bappa’s farewell was Nita Ambani’s younger daughter-in-law, Radhika Merchant. She bought a pink leheriya suit for the occasion. Her natural beauty was visible in this suit.
Radhika Merchant was winning everyone’s heart in a fuchsia pink lehriya kurta and palazzo pants. The kutch patchwork detailing on the front and sleeves of the kurta made her look even more special. She styled this suit with a mangalsutra around her neck. Anant Ambani’s wife neither wore diamond earrings nor any heavy necklace on this occasion, but the gulaal on her cheeks was enhancing her beauty a hundred times. The simple French braid made her entire look fit into the festive colours. During Ganpati immersion, Radhika was sometimes seen distributing prasad to the devotees and sometimes playing Holi with flowers with Anant. Her every style was unique and heart winning.
Anant Ambani was seen walking behind the Ganpati’s procession. He wore a navy blue kurta. Nita Ambani also made the occasion more special by wearing a fuchsia pink classic salwar-kameez. The whole family appearing in the same color was giving a great message of both devotion and fashion.
Earlier, during the Ganpati festival held in Antilia, Radhika Merchant wore a red kurta-sharara set from Sabyasachi’s “Heritage Bridal” collection. The special thing is that she also wore the same outfit in her pre-wedding ritual Anna-seva ceremony. Radhika wearing this outfit again is a symbol of the fact that clothes are not just a status symbol, but an archive of memories and tradition.
