Large scale Ayodhya’s never-before arrangements have been made for security and order in Ayodhya for Ram Navami 2025. Keeping in mind the crowd of devotees, the administration has divided Ayodhya into different zones and sectors. Heavy vehicles will be stopped from entering the city and sent towards Purvanchal Expressway, so that the traffic remains smooth. PAC, police, paramilitary forces, water police, NDRF and SDRF have been deployed for security.
Special passes for darshan at Ram temple will be canceled from 9 am to 12 noon, so that common devotees can get priority. Divisional Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said that lessons have been learned from the experiences of Kumbh for crowd management. In view of the heat, arrangements have been made for shade, mats and cold drinking water. Temporary health centers have been deployed at 14 places and ambulances at 7 places.
A special team of Municipal Corporation has been deployed for cleaning in the morning, afternoon and evening. For the first time on Ram Navami, Saryu water will be sprinkled on the devotees from drones and more than two lakh lamps will be lit. Cultural programs will be held in Ram Katha Park. Special permissions to the devotees:
On the occasion of Ram Navami 2025, in view of the heat, devotees have been allowed to carry transparent water bottles to the temple, so that there is no problem. Drinking water taps and ORS packets have also been arranged in the temple premises. Champat Rai, the head of the pilgrimage area, has asked people to come with their heads covered to avoid the sun and drink Sattu or ORS, so that the body gets cool and does not fall ill.

Very good preparations have been made in Ayodhya for the devotees coming to the Ram Navami fair. 120 special buses are being run from 5 to 7 April so that people do not face any problem in commuting. These buses will run from different depots of Ayodhya and a temporary bus station has also been built at Balughat.
The fare of the buses has increased slightly. For example, the fare from Ayodhya to Lucknow is now Rs 194 instead of 193 and the fare from Ayodhya to Kanpur has become Rs 363 instead of 362. Tents have been set up from Hanumangarhi to Shringar Haat to avoid the sun so that the devotees get comfort. Railings and carpets have also been laid for the people standing in line.
Sanitation arrangements:
Keeping in mind the cleanliness during the journey, fiber toilets have also been installed on the way. Thousands of people are coming to visit Ramlala every day. 77,276 people visited on Wednesday and 81,777 on Thursday. The administration and police have already made all the preparations so that all the devotees can have a good experience.
This time, on the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deepotsav will be celebrated for the first time on Ram Navami in Ayodhya. In this, more than 2 lakh diyas will be lit which will fill the Ram Katha Park, Ram Ki Paidi and Ghats with light. This will make the whole Ayodhya shine. On the day of Ashtami, ‘Heritage Walk’ will also be taken out which will connect the devotees with the culture of Ayodhya.
Along with this, there will be cultural programs like music, drama and dance in Ram Katha Park. Big artists are set to perform. The holy water of Saryu river will be sprinkled on the devotees. This is to be done from the drone so that they can get the blessings of Mother Saryu. In view of the heat, water, shady tents, 34 mobile toilets and air coolers have been installed at 243 places in the city. The time for darshan in Ram temple has also been increased so that more and more people can have darshan of Lord Shri Ram. There is complete arrangement for security and cleanliness.
