High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a common health problem affecting many people today. Visiting a doctor can be expensive, and prescribed medicines are often costly, making it difficult for many to manage. Fortunately, there are simple home remedies that can help control high blood pressure effectively.

Control High Blood Pressure:

One easy remedy is drumstick leaves (Keer Dosakaya). These leaves are cheap and easily available. Eating them daily can help reduce blood pressure naturally.


Another effective option is amla (Indian gooseberry). Amla is rich in nutrients and vitamins, and it helps detoxify the body. Regular consumption can reduce blood pressure, control sugar levels, and even assist in weight management.

Vegetables also play a key role in controlling blood pressure. Bell peppers in different colors—red, yellow, or green—are particularly helpful. Carrots are another vegetable that helps maintain healthy blood pressure.

Radish (Mullangi), though slightly strong in taste, is very beneficial. Cooking radish into a dish makes it easier to consume while supporting blood pressure control.

Buttermilk (Majjiga) is another natural remedy. Drinking thin buttermilk with a pinch of cumin and fennel powder can provide immediate relief. It also promotes healthy digestion and supports overall wellness.

Lastly, a special herbal water can be prepared at night. Mix a glass of water with a teaspoon of fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and a small stick of cinnamon. Let it soak overnight. In the morning, add a little mint and a pinch of black pepper, boil it, strain, and drink with some lemon juice. Regular intake of this herbal drink can significantly help in controlling blood pressure.

These simple, natural remedies can be easily incorporated into daily routines. Along with maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, and stress management, they can greatly improve heart health and help manage high blood pressure effectively without heavy medical costs.
