A mixture of two common kitchen ingredients will somehow be able to reduce pigmentation that has long-ago set in. You can use the paste for your face, or consume it for the double benefits.

 

The Two Natural Ingredients

Cinnamon and honey are both common kitchen ingredients. Together they are effective in skin healing and promoting our natural glow.

 

Benefits Of Cinnamon For Skin

Cinnamon is loaded with antioxidants. It provides anti-inflammatory properties and antibacterial benefits. It increases blood circulation, combats acne, and improves skin texture. When taken internally, cinnamon helps with digestion and regulates blood sugar, which improves our skin health from the inside.

 

Benefits Of Honey For Skin

Honey is a natural humectant, which helps to hydrate our skin. It contains vitamins, minerals, and enzymes that help repair skin damage. Honey also alleviates irritation and provides skin with a soft natural glow.

 

How To Make The Mix

Soak about 2-3 sticks of cinnamon in honey for 3 hours or so. Make sure the honey covers the cinnamon.
The honey absorbs the best nutrients from the cinnamon after it soaks in there for some time.

 

Two Ways To Use

 

1. As Mask

Take a little bit of the soaked honey and put in a clean face.
Leave the mask on your face for about 15-20 minutes, before rinsing your face with warm water.
You can do this 2-3 times a week for effect.

 

2. Drink For Inner Glow

Put 1 tsp of cinnamon soaked honey in a glass of warm/hot water.
Drink it every morning on empty stomach.
It helps detoxify your body, reduces inflammation, and enhances the glow of your skin.
