The birthplace of Lord Rama is in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. Hanuman ji is considered to be the greatest devotee of Lord Rama. It is believed that when King Rama returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile, he brought Hanuman ji with him. Devotees believe that Hanuman ji is still seated there to protect Ayodhya. Hanumangarhi temple is located at a distance from Ram Janmabhoomi, where Bajrangbali ji is seated. This temple was established by Swami Abhayramdas more than 300 years ago. It is said that the pilgrimage of devotees who go to visit Ramlala is not complete until they visit Hanumangarhi.

There is a place called Mehndipur in Dausa district of Rajasthan, where an ancient and miraculous temple of Balaji is located between two hills. The history of this temple is said to be about a thousand years old. It is believed that the figure of Swayambhu Hanuman ji emerged on the rock here. Devotees from every corner of the country reach here to get relief from their sufferings. Bhairav Baba, Pretraj Sarkar and Kotwal Captain are also worshipped here.
The Latthe Hue Hanuman Temple is situated on the banks of the Sangam in the holy city of Prayagraj. It is believed that after conquering Lanka, Hanuman ji lay down to rest on the banks of the Sangam due to fatigue, so his lying statue is installed here. It is said that the pilgrimage is considered complete only after taking a bath in the Sangam and having darshan of Hanuman ji.
