Bagheera OTT release : Sriimurali’s action thriller all set to stream on this gaint Ott platform, which is yet to be confirmed by film makers and Netflix. Check out for more details.

Kannada superhero flick Bagheera, starring Sandalwood hero Srimuralii and Rukmini Vasanth as hit the screens on Thursday to coincide with the Diwali celebration . The superhero flick received mostly positive reviews and successfully running in the theaters in multiple languages.

A source revealed that Bagheera’s digital rights have been acquired by gaint Ott platform Netflix, lifting the ban of  streaming Kannada movies on its platform. The superhero film has been reportedly sold as a Telugu original, while it was a Kannada original film . Reports suggest that the makers and Netflix are yet to decide on debut date. 

The superhero entertainer is helmed by Dr. Suri from story by pan India director Prashanth Neel bankrolled by Hombale Films, who produced blockbuster hit films like KGF 1 and 2 and Salaar. It stars , Suri, Sapta Saagaradaache Ello fame, Rukmini Vasanth Murali, Prakash Raj, Sudha Rani, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty and Rangayana Raghu in the lead roles.

The film’s music is composed by  B Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography, editing is handled by AJ Shetty’s and Pranav Sri. The  superhero film story follows a cop-turned-vigilante ,who aims to clean up the system. What and how he does it form the crux of the story.

The Sriimurali starrer facing tough competition from Telugu film Lucky Bhaskar starring Dulquer Salmaan,  tamil film Bloody Beggar starring Kavin, and Tamil film Brother starring Jayam Ravi and Priyanka Mohan yet still running successful in the theaters. 

Bhageera released on 31st October to positive reviews from critics and is set to debut on Netflix after it’s eight-week theatrical release window, which is yet to  official confirmed by the makers of Bagheera or Netflix.
