Delhi Crime 3 Ending Explained: Did Shefali Shah Kill Huma Qureshi?

Delhi Crime 3 Ending: After three years of waiting, Delhi Crime Season 3 is out on Netflix on November 13th, 2025. Shefali Shah as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi gave a stronger comeback than earlier. This season explores more emotional and heavy investigation elements. In this show, the story revolves around human trafficking, which shows the deep network that hides in society in the name of social work.

Huma Qureshi enters the Delhi Crime universe as a terrifying antagonist. Her character increased the suspense element throughout the show. Vartika is put to the test in ways she has never encountered before as “Badi Didi,” also known as Meena, becomes the core of a trafficking network. The emotional centerpiece of the season’s finale is their fierce confrontation.

However, what actually occurs between Shefali and Huma? Is there going to be a fierce battle? Was Meena killed by Vartika during the pursuit? What is the conclusion of Season 3, and what does it mean for a possible Season 4?

Delhi Crime Season 3: Storyline
An unsettling discovery is made at the beginning of Season 3: an injured baby is discovered abandoned at AIIMS Hospital. The mother of the infant has vanished. Simultaneously, Vartika is investigating a human trafficking network in the Northeast. She begins to notice unsettling similarities between the two incidents during this investigation. A terrifying series of events starts to take place as Vartika digs more.

Vartika must negotiate dishonest networks, shattered families, terrified victims, and the horrifying efficiency of a trafficking gang that has been operating for years without being discovered as the season combines these two narratives into a single, highly complex narrative. It becomes visible that Huma Qureshi’s character Meena, also known as Badi Didi, is the mastermind behind the exploitation and trafficking of young girls. Her tactics are chilly, calculated, and extremely manipulative.

Delhi Crime Season 3 Ending Explained:
Season 3 builds up a little bit slowly in the first episodes, but in the final episode, the emotional intensity increases to its peak. The moment baby Noor passes away from her wounds is one of the most tragic. As Vartika breaks the terrible news to the baby’s biological mother, whom she had successfully rescued following a tiresome pursuit, her anguish is evident. The emotional toll the case has taken on her is evident in this moment.

Meena teaches the abducted girls how to “control” males in a terrifying scene, turning trauma into a twisted survival lesson. She even uses a handkerchief to smother a girl who is coughing, showing her brutality without thinking twice. At last, the police use Meena’s phone to locate the gang. Meena gets ready to take the ladies for the last delivery in the meantime. Chaos breaks out as Sonam, one of the females, escapes. Her escape serves as a signal for the police’s timely intervention.

Vartika and Meena had a heated argument near the end of the season. Vartika kills Meena during the intense struggle. It is depicted as unvarnished, chaotic, and emotionally devastating rather than as a heroic or victorious moment. In the end, the case gets closed, and all thirty girls are rescued. Even Meena’s network and her business are destroyed.
