Kadakan made it’s grand theatrical debut on March 1st, 2024 to mixed responses from audience and critics. Now the action thriller is all set to entertain Ott views as it is set to make its much awaited Ott debut soon.

Actor Hakim Shahjahan took to his social media accounts and announced the film’s Ott release date , he stated on his Instagram account , Kadakan streaming on SUN NXT from December 20 onwards and shared film’s official poster creating excitement among viewers who missed the film in theatres.

Kadakan starring Hakim Shahjahan , Sarath Sabha, Fahiz Bin Rifai is directed by Sajil Mampadand bankrolled by Khaleel Hameed under the banner of Kadathanadan Cinemas, the movie boasts a screenplay written by Bodhi and Sasi Kumar Mampad. The music for Kadakan is composed by the acclaimed Gopi Sundar, while Jazmin Jaseel handled the cinematography and Shameer Muhammed managed the editing.

The action entertainer is set in the rural backdrop of Nilambur, Kadakan and follows the life of Sulfi, a reckless young man and his family, whose peaceful life takes a thrilling turn when he and his father becomes entangled in a dangerous clash involving the mafia and the Kerala police. Drawing inspiration from real-life events, the film weaves a compelling narrative enriched with commercial elements to captivate its audience.

Kadakan ensemble star cast includes Sarath Sabha, Fahiz Bin Rifai, Nirmal Palazhi, Harisree Asokan, Jaffar Idukki and Sona Olickal, among others.
The film is finally all set to entertain the global audience once again as it is about to make it’s grand much anticipated digital debut after it’s decent theatrical run at Kerala box office. The action thriller is available to stream on SUN NXT starting December 20, 2024.
