Jack Locks OTT Platform: Jack, the newest film of Siddhu Jonnalagadda, released on April 10, 2025. Riding high on the success of DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, Siddhu returns with a quirky and lively avatar. Bhaskar has helmed the film, which was bankrolled by BVSN Prasad, the mastermind behind a series of blockbuster success stories in the past. Though the buzz came prior to its release, Jack opened to adverse word-of-mouth and lukewarm reviews.
While the theatrical reception has been bad, OTT buzz for Jack is still big. Netflix acquired the digital streaming rights of the film at a premium. The deal has provided the producers some fiscal protection, as the film is guaranteed to be profitable even with its bad start at the box office. The OTT release is planned for the fourth week of April 2025.
Jack is an action-comedy film directed by Siddhu Jonnalagadda depicting a spy in the process of becoming a RAW agent. He is on the job, though, and is taken into strange chaos and complications. While intriguing in idea, critics have lamented the fact that Bommarillu cult director Bhaskar failed to quite hit gold with his uninspired plot.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda is the best as the lead, adding his own persona to the role. Vaishnavi Chaitanya plays the female lead, adding intensity to the interactions of the movie. Prakash Raj, the veteran actor, also has an important role in the movie. The music by Sam CS has been appreciated for its quality, although the movie does not otherwise impress.

Jack is fighting a stiff fight with Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly, which was released on the same day, April 10, 2025, and has gained a better opening in Telugu states. While it has seen good opening day occupancy, Jack was unable to achieve its pre-release hype.
Although Jack left very little impression on the cinema screens, its OTT release on Netflix provides a second chance to reach out to the audience. Fans of Siddhu Jonnalagadda can wait to watch the film shortly. Keep waiting for more!
