Directed by Shekhar Kammula, it will hit the theatres on June 20, 2025, in several Indian languages. The film features Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanush and Najarjuna. Now the curtain has been raised from the OTT partner of this film.

According to media reports, after announcing the release date, the makers of Kubera have entered into an OTT partnership of the film with Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform has acquired the digital rights of Kubera in all languages at a huge price. Now that the new trend of acquiring OTT platforms even before its release has become common. Although some fans thought Is it a Wise Move for Dhanush? Some other fans support his decision, as every movie’s OTT rights were acquired even before its release.

The story of Kuber

Kuber is based on the backdrop of Dharavi and depicts the story of a person’s growth from poverty to riches. Kuber is being made under the banner of Sunil Narang and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao Sri Venkateswara Cinema LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Devi Sri Prasad has given the music of the film.

Apart from Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh and Akkineni Nagarjuna will play important roles in the film. Kuber is backed by Sri Venkateswara Cinema LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for the film.

The makers of the film Kuber shared the release date with a poster of the film on their official social media handles. The release date poster features Dhanush and Nagarjuna facing each other. They hinted at the storyline on the poster: “The story of power, the fight for money, the game of fate. Shekhar Kammula Kuber is ready to give a fascinating experience from 20th June 2025.”
