The young romantic drama Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, which starred a number of up-and-coming actors, was directed by actor Dhanush. The movie and Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon were both released in theaters on February 21. Pavish, Dhanush’s nephew and debutante, plays the main character in NEEK , which also stars Anikha Surendran, Matthew Thomas, and other actors.

Dhanush wrote and directed the Tamil movie Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, which came out in 2025. The movie is now showing in theaters as of its February 21 release date. In addition to veteran performers Sarathkumar, Naren, and Saranya Ponvannan, the film stars Anikha Surendran, Matthew Thomas, Priya Prakash Varrier, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, and Venkatesh Menon. Dhanush supports the Wunderbar Films production, and GV Prakash composes the music.
As per sources, Prime Video has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights of the picture, and it will be released on March 21. An official confirmation has not yet been announced by the makers or the streaming site.
When Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam first came out, it had a mixed reception. The release of Dragon, a commercial hit that is now playing well in theaters, topped it, though. Dhanush also gave hit to a potential sequel to Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam toward the end of the movie.
Dhanush Upcoming Films:
Dhanush’s next appearance will be in the movie Idly Kadai, which he will both direct and star in. Actors Rajkiran, Nithya Menen, and Arun Vijay are among those featured. The movie is scheduled for release on April 10 and is produced by Dawn Pictures. However, speculations indicate that Idly Kadai will be delayed and that discussions are underway for Dhanush to direct Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, which is also slated for release on the same day.
Kuberaa, which Dhanush is producing with Tere Isq Mein and Sekhar Kammula, is scheduled for release this year.
