OTT update: Mirzapur season 4 to be out this time?

OTT update: OTT’s most beloved show Mirzapur is returning with the 4th Season, according to the latest update, the series shooting commenced a few days ago and the series will be aired from January 2026. This crime drama series is expected to return with a more gripping storyline.

What has happened so far?

Mirzapur is a crime drama that happens in Mirzapur, it follows the Tripathi family, they are the heads and uncrowned kings in the area, they run guns and drugs racket under the name of doing legal business, the whole series follows their encountered with the good guys around them.

Season 1

In this season, Khaleen Bhaiya(Akhanandh Tripati) is the unofficial king of Mirzapur, his no good son Munna is a hot headed young guy, he accidentally kills a groom in bhaarath and the plot kicks off. Then Guddu, Bablu Pandit’s join Khaleen Bhaiya to handle his business.

Seeing the success of the pandit’s Munna feels jealous, to add more fuel to the fire Munna has lust for Sweety, she is in love with Guddu, Bablu is in love with Golu. In a frenzied climatic wedding massacre Munna kills Bablu and Sweety. Now, Guddu and Golu are all up for revenge going forward.

Season 2

Guddu and Golu align with the rivals of Tripatis, Munna to strengthen his power marries Madhuri, she is daughter of the Chief Minister. Beena Tripathi, wife of Khaleen bhayya is oppressed and she is a cunning woman. She aids with the enemies.

In the bloody climax Guddu finally kills Munna and takes control of Mirzapur, but, how long will it last because the foundation is borrowed, not built.

Season 3

With Mirzapur in their hands Guddu and Golu take control but fight on which way to rule is correct, Khaleen Bhayya though lost his control looms around as a dangerous snake.

This season explores paranoia, ambition, and loyalty. Though Guddu holds the power and is feared by all, this power also isolates him. Power in Mirzapur becomes easier to seize than hold that power.

What can we expect from Season 4?

If this would be the final Season of the series, we can finally see who holds the power forever and can that power ever become so strong?
