Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights to Perusu, a recently released Tamil film starring Vaibhav, Sunil, and other actors. The film will be accessible on Netflix starting April 11 and will be available in Telugu, Hindi. In addition to Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, with English subtitles. With its theatrical run coming to an end, the adult comedy Perusu will soon be available on streaming services.
Netflix will start streaming the movie on April 11. Ilango Ram is the director of Perusu, which has been censored A for its content. It will be available for streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada with English subtitles. Ilango Ram’s Sinhalese film Tentigo, which debuted on the same day as the Tamil original, was remade as Perusu.
The film centers on the family’s attempt to arrange the funeral for a well-respected elderly man who passed away in the hamlet. The catch is that when the family members learn that he passed away from a post-mortem erection, they become ashamed. Actors and brothers in real life, On-screen, Vaibhav and Sunil Reddy also portray brothers. The supporting cast includes Chandini Tamilarasan, Niharika NM in her Tamil debut, Deepa Shankar, Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan, VTV Ganesh, Karunakaran, Munishkanth, and others. Ember Light Studio, Baweja Studios, and Stone Bench Films are the producers of Perusu.
Tentigo Remake in Hindi:
Tentigo will be remade in Hindi by renowned filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The cast and crew have not yet been revealed, and casting director Mukesh Chhabra will be producing for the first time alongside Sahil Saigal. The film’s director is still unknown, though. Karan Vyas, who has worked on Scoop, Scam 1992, and Scam 2003, would be in charge of the Hindi adaptation.
