Raid 2 OTT: After an incredible run at the box office, Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor, is ready for its digital release. The Rajkumar Gupta-directed film is set to heat up, as the streaming behemoth has formally declared when it will be available.

Raid 2 Plot and Box Office Collections:

Raid 2 follows IRS officer Amay Patnaik’s 75th raid, placing him at the center of the story once again. This time, he takes on the alias of Dada Bhai, a powerful political heavyweight played by Riteish Deshmukh. Within his constituency, no one dares question Dada Bhai’s status as a demi-god.

The film opened strong, raking in ₹19 crore net on day one in India. It dominated the box office throughout its run, ultimately earning over ₹160 crore net domestically. Overseas audiences also responded well, contributing approximately ₹59 crore to its total revenue. With a worldwide collection of ₹219 crore, Raid 2 proved both a critical and commercial success.

Raid 2 Cast and Crew

Raid 2 was the follow-up to the 2018 film Raid. Ajay Devgn plays the well-known character of Amay Patnaik in the thriller drama, and Vaani Kapoor plays his wife. Riteish Deshmukh played the lead antagonist perfectly. Additionally, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial, and Supriya Pathak are part of the supporting cast.

Rajkumar Gupta is the writer and director of the film, which is based on actual events. Word-of-mouth for Raid 2 was divided, but generally positive. It was criticized, meanwhile, for having a less exciting plot than its predecessor and for Ajay Devgn’s appearance.The performance of the suspense drama on OTT will be interesting to see.
