Telugu web Series Harikatha starring Srikanth, Rajendra Prasad  finally made it’s much anticipated grand digital debut on Disney+ Hotstar today, i.e 13th December.

Harikatha is the latest suspense thriller series to have its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. Starring Rajendra Prasad and Sriram in lead roles and produced under the People Media Factory banner, the series has started streaming from today. Harikatha’s story unfolds in a tribal village near Araku between the 1980s and 1990s. A boy named Hari (Suman) from a lower caste goes to jail in a murder case. A Harikatha artiste named Rangachari (Rajendra Prasad) narrates the avatars of Lord Vishnu under his Rangachari Nataka Mandali. The show officially premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on December 13, 2024, and is now available for streaming. The announcement was made by the platform a few days ago through an official trailer.

Harikatha is a composite art form composed of storytelling, poetry, music, drama, dance, and philosophy most prevalent in Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Harikatha is a Telugu drama thriller web series directed by Maggi. The series casts Rajendra Prasad, Srikanth, Divi, and Pujitha Ponnada in the main lead roles along with MS Vikram Savyasachi, Mounika Reddy, Arjun Ambati, Ruchira Saadineni, Shriya Kottam, Usha Shree, and many others have seen in supporting roles. The music was composed by Suresh Bobbili while the cinematography was done by Vijay Ulaganath and it is edited by Junaid Siddique. The series is produced by Vishwaprasad TG under People Media Factory banner.

When god unleashes a killing spree in a picturesque village, a police officer with a traumatic history finds themselves caught up in the chilling mystery. Harkatha is now streaming on giant ott platform diseny Plus Hotstar.
