War 2 OTT Release: This year, NTR made his Bollywood debut with the film War 2, starring alongside Hrithik Roshan. The movie, which was released in theaters on August 14, struggled at the box office and received largely negative reviews in Telugu. Its Hindi collections were similarly underwhelming. Over the past few days, rumors about the film’s OTT release circulated widely, prompting an official announcement.

Netflix has acquired the digital rights for War 2 and will stream it eight weeks after its theatrical release. A poster now confirms that the film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi starting October 9, fulfilling the earlier speculation. Given its limited theatrical run, audiences are now curious to see how the movie performs on OTT platforms.

As for the plot, the film revolves around the villain Kali, who plans to manipulate former RAW agent Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) into joining his cartel. Kali orders Kabir to kill Sunil Luthra, a godfather-like figure, as part of his scheme. In response, the new RAW chief, Vikrant Kaul (Anil Kapoor), and the Indian government assemble a team led by Soldier Vikram Chalapati (NTR) to capture Kabir. The team also includes Kavya Luthra (Kiara Advani), Sunil Luthra’s daughter, and a Wing Commander. The story explores why Kabir turned traitor and how he reacts after discovering Vikram’s true identity. The rest of the film unfolds around the action-packed chase and the showdown.
