AIMIM Defeats BJP in Hyderabad MLC Elections

AIMIM Wins In Elections: AIMIM has won the fiercely contested local body MLC elections in Hyderabad city. The Election Commission has issued a notification for the Hyderabad local body MLC elections and has completed the election process. When the counting was conducted on Friday, AIMIM candidate Mirza Riaz Hasan got 63 votes, while BJP candidate Gautam Rao got 25 votes. Finally, the AIMIM candidate has won.


Polling Results:

Officials confirmed that 78.57 percent polling was recorded in the elections held on the 23rd of this month. However, when the counting began at 8 am on Friday at the GHMC head office, officials confirmed that 88 votes were cast out of a total of 112 votes. 66 corporators and 22 ex-officio members exercised their right to vote in this election. While BJP, Congress, and AIMIM corporators and ex-officio members participated in the polling, BRS corporators abstained from voting.

AIMIM Beats BJP

The BJP considered this election as a prestigious one and conducted a wide campaign. In addition, several plexiglasses were set up and some voters were asked not to vote for MIM. However, when MIM took this election as a challenge and finally achieved victory, the party leaders and activists were immersed in celebrations. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad police showed their mark in conducting the elections in a peaceful atmosphere. The local people thanked the police for taking steps to ensure that the election was held in a peaceful atmosphere without any minor incident anywhere, with a well-planned approach.
