AP Govt: In the wake of the heightening tensions between India and Pakistan, the government of Andhra Pradesh made efforts to secure the safety of students from the state who are stuck in Jammu & Kashmir. Andhra Pradesh Human Resources Minister Nara Lokesh insisted that the state government is taking all possible measures to safeguard students at a time of turmoil.
India recently initiated Operation Sindoor, a strategic military action against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation was taken after the Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in 26 deaths. Therefore, security issues have increased, and thus the Andhra Pradesh government took prompt action.
IT Department and Minister Nara Lokesh also oversaw the process to ensure that the coalition government is keeping a close eye on the situation. He added that Nandyal MP B Shabari met with Resident Commissioner Lav Aggarwal in New Delhi to arrange with central agencies to ensure students’ safety.
Shabari has also requested help in coordinating evacuation strategies and updating the students’ families on the developments. Lokesh once more stated that every possible support is being provided to keep students safe during the midst of this tragedy.
With awareness of the fear of parents, Lokesh promised them that the government is watching the situation carefully. He implored parents to keep calm since all safety measures are being taken to provide protection. And a healthy environment to students.
