Andhra Pradesh has introduced a bold Aerospace and Defence Policy 4.0 (2025–2030). Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu led the review at the Secretariat. The policy aims to make the state India’s top aerospace and defence manufacturing hub.
The policy sets a clear investment target. Andhra Pradesh plans to attract between Rs50,000 crore and 1 lakh crore in the next five years. These funds will build advanced infrastructure, boost exports, and create jobs.
CM Naidu stressed the rising role of aerospace technology in national defence. He referred to India’s Operation Sindoor as an example. He noted that defence innovation also benefits civilian life.
The Chief Minister urged officials to design a future-proof policy. He called for national security to remain a guiding principle.
Andhra Pradesh plans to support MSMEs aggressively. CM Naidu proposed a Rs100 crore yearly fund. He added logistics subsidies and quality benchmarks. He said branding and value addition must become key focus areas.
“One family, one entrepreneur,” he said, “must drive local innovation.”
