BC Reservations: In the backdrop of the Telangana bandh organized by BC groups, there is a growing campaign on the ground accusing the BJP and BRS of blocking the implementation of 42% BC reservations. Discussions are gaining momentum that these bills are being delayed due to the dual stance of both parties. Many are questioning why these parties, despite supporting the BC bandh, are not presenting strong arguments in favor of reservations in court.
“This Is Just BRS-BJP Drama!”
BC groups are asking where the BJP and BRS were when petitions were filed in the High Court against GO No. 9. They question why these parties neither supported the petitions nor defended the cause of BC reservations. People suspect that both parties are deliberately conspiring to block the reservation process. Critics allege that BRS and BJP are staying away from legal proceedings to push the BC Reservation Bill into trouble.
Conspiracy to Stop Bill Approval:
Meanwhile, the BC Reservation Bills and related amendments, passed in the state assembly, are pending with the President and the Governor. BC association leaders are demanding to know why the BJP-led Central Government is not ensuring their approval. If the BJP truly supports BCs, they argue, it should take immediate steps to approve the bills. However, there are claims that the BJP is strategically delaying approval to prevent the reservations from becoming law.

Congress Shouldn’t Get Credit, That’s the BRS Plan?
Congress leaders allege that the BJP and the BRS are working together to pressure the President and Governor into withholding approval. They accuse BRS of blocking the process in coordination with the BJP to deny Congress credit for the BC reservation initiative.
Support for Bandh Is Political Drama:
After the High Court stayed GO No. 9, BRS quickly announced support for the BC bandh. However, critics say this move was purely political, an attempt to hide their own role in blocking reservations. Many recall that BRS had postponed the Karimnagar BC Sabha after sensing low public support. Now, analysts believe the party is pretending to support BCs for political gain while quietly opposing the reservation process behind the scenes.
