What’s the shock for Revanth Sarkar?

The Supreme Court held the Speaker accountable for the values if he waits without taking action even until the term of the public representatives is completed. It is noteworthy that the lawyer representing the Speaker, who responded to this, told the court that they have not received any notices so far. The bench, which considered the arguments of the Speaker’s lawyer, also issued notices to the High Court Registrar, the Assembly Secretary, the Speaker, the state government, the State Election Commission, the respondents in the case. The apex court has ordered them to respond to these notices by March 22. The bench adjourned the further hearing to March 25.

However, MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy and KP Vivekananda have filed a petition in the High Court seeking directions to disqualify the 10 MLAs who joined the Congress party after winning on BRS Beefam. The High Court single bench, which has heard this petition several times, has issued orders to the Speaker to take action against the 10 MLAs.

Meanwhile, challenging the High Court single bench verdict, the Assembly Secretary appealed to a special bench, which said that the Speaker can decide how much time to take to declare him disqualified. However, the BRS leaders filed a petition in the Supreme Court, saying that the Speaker has not taken any action despite the number of days, and the Supreme Court issued notices to the respondents.
