CM Revanth Reddy: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the state was built on the sacrifices of students, unemployed youth, and martyrs. Speaking at the Group-2 appointment letter distribution ceremony, he made key remarks criticizing the previous rulers who governed Telangana for ten years without caring for the unemployed. He said if they had worked to fulfill the aspirations of the martyrs, these jobs would have been available to youth eight years ago.
60,000 Jobs in the First Year:
Revanth Reddy alleged that the former ruling government only secured positions for their family members and did not even issue a notification for Group-2 jobs. He said it was unfortunate that Group-1 positions remained unfilled for 15 years. After the formation of the Praja government, the recruitment process was completed immediately. Group-2 exams were conducted, and appointment letters are now being issued. The CM announced that 60,000 jobs were filled in the first year of his government.
Misinformation on Social Media:
He said his government faced challenges but succeeded in bringing hope to the unemployed. He accused the previous government of filing cases to block recruitment and using their illegally funded social media networks to spread false information. “We don’t have such a system. Our system includes you; you are part of our family,” Revanth Reddy told the new employees.

“Until now, you were common citizens; from today, you are officers,” he said. The CM urged them to work sincerely, following the Rising Telangana 2047 Vision Document, and make Telangana a model of development for the country. ‘If You Neglect Your Parents, Salary Will Be Cut’
Revanth Reddy reminded employees not to forget their parents, who worked hard to raise them. He said a new law will soon be introduced to deduct salaries of those who neglect their parents and redirect it to them. He also urged employees to help the poor, prevent incidents like food poisoning in hostels, and ensure no lives are lost due to negligence. CM Revanth Reddy advised Group-2 employees to perform their duties responsibly and set an example for others.
